An Invitation to Return to Where You Belong
Come as you are
The forest will walk with you
”The forest is the therapist. The guide opens the doors.”- Association of Nature and Forest Therapy
At Ode to Origins, we guide gentle, sensory-based walks that invite you to slow down, listen deeply, and remember your place within the living world. Rooted in the practice of forest therapy, our experiences create space for rest, reflection, and reconnection - fostering meaningful relationships with nature grounded in presence, reverence, and reciprocity.
Ode to Origins is not about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering what’s already within you - your capacity to feel, to rest, to relate and to belong. Whether you are carrying grief, curiosity, exhaustion or a quiet longing for something more rooted, you are welcome here.
The forest is patient
And there is time.
Guided Forest Therapy Walks
About Forest Therapy
What is Forest Therapy? Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing), forest therapy is a guided, sensory-based experience designed to deepen your relationship with nature and yourself through a relational approach. By slowing down and tuning into the environment around you - sights, sounds, textures, smells - you step out of autopilot and into presence. These walks are not hikes or fitness sessions—there is no rush and no expectation to perform.
Through gentle invitations in a natural sanctuary, we explore how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the living world around us, allowing both us and nature to give and receive.
Each walk offers a quiet, mindful return - to your breath, your body and the natural world. It is a space to pause, notice and reconnect with what is essential, guided at a pace that honours your rhythm.

Daphne Lee
“Holding space. Together in nature.”
I didn’t discover forest therapy because life was going well.
I found it when I was grieving.
During a season of loss, I felt disconnected from myself and overwhelmed by the pace and noise of everyday life. What I needed wasn’t fixing or answers, but somewhere I could soften, breathe, and simply be.
That place was the forest.
Moving slowly among trees, listening to birds, feeling the ground beneath my feet — I experienced something I hadn’t felt in a long time: steadiness. My grief didn’t disappear, but it was no longer something I had to carry alone. Nature held it with me.
Forest therapy became a way of relating — not just to nature, but to myself and to life as it is. It taught me that healing doesn’t come from pushing through, but from listening, slowing down, and reconnecting.
Ode to Origins was born from this lived experience. Today, as a certified Forest Therapy guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, I hold space for others to encounter the same quiet support that once carried me — whether they are navigating grief, stress, burnout, or a desire to feel more rooted and alive.
This work is an invitation back to what is essential.
Back to presence.
Back to relationship.
Back to your origins.
Whether you come on your own or with those close to you, the forest receives you just as you are. There is space here to slow down, to listen, and to remember that you belong to the living world.

Walk With Me
Your Questions, Answered
Forest therapy (sometimes called forest bathing or nature therapy) is a guided, slow-paced experience in nature. Through gentle sensory invitations, we reconnect with our bodies, our breath, and the living world around us. It is not a hike or a fitness activity — it is about presence, relationship, and rest.
What is forest therapy?
Not at all. Walks are slow and accessible, no prior experience is needed - only a willingness to slow down and be present.
Do I need to be fit or experienced in nature?
Each session includes guided invitations, moments of quiet reflection, and time to share (if you wish). There is no pressure to speak or perform. You are always free to participate in ways that feel comfortable to you.
What happens during a session?
What if it rains?
Unless weather conditions are unsafe, we often continue - rain can be a part of the sensory experience. If necessary, alternative arrangements will be communicated.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, covered shoes, water, openness and a sense of curiosity. Details will be shared before your session so you feel prepared and at ease.
